Yo yo yo! Reader,Over the coming weeks, there are some big changes happening. The business is moving from a sole trader structure to a company. We're reshaping parts of the business model, preparing for FY27, and building for what comes next. As part of that, I'm also going to be changing the structure of this newsletter. Rather than just sharing random thoughts from the week, I want to give you a more structured behind-the-scenes look at what it actually takes to build something over the long term. The wins. This week's newsletter is a little taste of that. I am open for feedback as well, so if you have some BTS or extras you would like to see here, then PLEASE hit reply and let me know. Also if you are needing a game changing legend of an accountant, Ethan is your guy! Get in contact for some TAX TIME SUCCESS - connect now The SnapshotThis week was all about preparation.
On the surface it probably looked like a normal week. Behind the scenes, it felt like moving pieces across a chess board while still trying to play the game. Behind The ScenesOne thing I've been realising lately is how difficult it is to change a business while still running it. If the business stopped tomorrow, making changes would be easy. But that's not reality. Customers still need their orders. At the same time, I'm trying to prepare for July. We're restructuring. The challenge isn't knowing what needs to change. The challenge is making those changes while keeping everything moving. That's where my head has been all week. The LessonYou Can't Stop The Machine To Improve The MachineMost people think growth looks like this: Stop. But that's rarely how it works. Most of the time growth looks like: Operate. Then repeat. Whether you're building a business, trying to get fit, paying off debt, changing careers, or learning a new skill, the reality is usually the same. Life doesn't stop so you can improve things. You have to improve things while life keeps moving. And that's messy. But that's also where progress comes from. What I'm Thinking AboutThe question I keep asking myself is: How do I build something that becomes stronger without becoming more dependent on me? eBay Live has become a great example. We've now done more than $24,000 in sales through Live. The opportunity is real. The demand is there. The customer engagement is there. The question isn't whether it works. The question is: How do we make it better? How do we make it repeatable? How do we scale it? How do we make sure it becomes part of the business rather than something that relies on me personally? Those are very different questions. And they're the ones I'm spending most of my time thinking about. Numbers CornerWeek 282

Not perfect. Still plenty to improve. But progress nonetheless. The Bigger PictureOne thing I've learned over the years is that growth rarely feels the way you expect it to. People often imagine growth as confidence. Momentum. Certainty. Excitement. Sometimes it is. But sometimes growth feels like uncertainty. Sometimes it feels like pressure. Sometimes it feels like standing between two decisions and not knowing which one is right. Right now, that's where I am. I'm excited. I'm nervous. I'm optimistic. And I'm cautious. All at the same time. But I've learned that those feelings usually show up when you're standing on the edge of something new. The goal isn't to eliminate uncertainty. The goal is to keep moving despite it. Question Of The WeekWhat is one thing you're currently building, improving, or working towards that requires you to keep moving forward even though you don't have all the answers yet? Hit reply and let me know. I'd love to hear about it. Until next week, Chris Building a Business to Suit My Lifestyle |

Yo yo yo! Reader, Some weeks you feel unstoppable. Other weeks feel like you're spending all your time reacting. This was one of those weeks. Trades didn't arrive when they were supposed to. Collections got delayed. Staff had family commitments. A camera return turned into a difficult customer situation. Rain made warehouse work harder than it needed to be. Even simple plans seemed to require three backup plans. A few years ago that would've completely thrown me. Now? It's just business. Also...
Yo yo yo! Reader, There's a funny thing that happens when your business grows. You spend years dreaming about having more opportunities… …and then one day you wake up and realise your biggest challenge isn't finding opportunities anymore. It's choosing which ones deserve your attention. That was this week. Also if you are needing a game changing legend of an accountant, Ethan is your guy! Yo yo yo! Reader, This week felt like a milestone. After weeks of planning, measuring, moving and reorganising, the new pallet racking finally went in. In less than an hour, one of the biggest operational projects we've tackled this year was standing in the warehouse and almost immediately, it started filling up. On the surface, it looks like shelving. In reality, it's capacity. Capacity for more stock. More consignments. More opportunities. More live shows. More moving parts. And judging by...
