getting back into a routine or groove can be hard

Hey Hey Reader,

First week back! Its been an exciting week.

Motivations are high.

Excitement of new opportunities.

New challenges and problems to solve.

Nerves raging as we start from 0 again.

It can be very overwhelming getting back into a groove, or hitting reset at the start of the year.

So today, a few things to remind and share with you on how this can be managed.

Pulse Check

Week one back. Done and dusted.

And honestly?
It’s been a bit floppy.

Not bad. Not great. Just… real.

After time away, it’s tempting to expect everything to snap straight back into rhythm. Full momentum. Full energy. Full results. But that’s rarely how it works. Coming back is less like flipping a switch and more like restarting an engine that’s been sitting still for a while.

Weekly Lessons, you can see the long version: watch here

This week wasn’t about peak performance. It was about re-establishing movement. Reconnecting the dots. Getting things flowing again after a pause. That matters more than chasing perfect numbers straight out of the gate.

Progress doesn’t restart at 100%. It restarts wherever you actually are.

If I was to summarise what I have learned this week it is:

  • calculated intentional action results in positive outcomes
  • choose your journey (solve a problem or run away from the challenge)
  • opportunities are created through your action
  • trust the process (and the level up process)

HOWEVER, there has been 1 outlier:

A Quiet but Important Shift

One thing stood out clearly this week:

small improvements compound fast when you take ownership.

Instead of accepting “this is how it’s always been done,” I spent time learning, testing, adjusting. A bit more effort upfront. A bit more thinking. And suddenly the same inputs started producing better outcomes.

Quick Wins for You

  • research: too many people keep asking for "spoon fed results" in the time you have spent asking / begging, you could have googled the problem, researched on YT, or leverage chatGPT to help you start solving rather than neglecting yourself the ability to up skill, learn and thrive
  • You don’t need a breakthrough to move forward... You need flow and flow comes from consistency, not intensity.
    • Am I expecting momentum before I’ve rebuilt the system?
    • Am I measuring myself against where I was, instead of where I am?
    • What’s one small process I could improve instead of pushing harder?

Where I’m At (and Why That Matters)

I’m not frustrated, but I’m not satisfied either.

That tension is healthy. It keeps complacency away without tipping into panic. There’s still plenty to improve, plenty to build, and plenty of room to get sharper. And that’s okay. That’s the work.

The goal right now isn’t perfection. It’s momentum with intention.

Before You Go

Getting back into stride takes patience.
Solving small problems creates bigger opportunities.
And progress often looks messy before it looks impressive.

If you’re rebuilding your rhythm right now... stay with it.
Flow always returns to those who keep showing up.

What else have I been up to?

  • sharing daily short form content! testing myself & challenging myself, its been a success!
  • enjoying new beginnings with a new home, married and a new phase in life

Yo yo yo! Reader, This week reminded me of something I think we all forget from time to time... You can be doing all the right things and still have a bad day. You can be showing up. Doing the work. Following the plan. Making progress. And still look at the scoreboard and think: "What the heck happened?" That was my week. One day we were flying. The next day felt like someone had turned the tap off. Nothing changed. Same effort. Same process. Same commitment. Different result. And that's when...

Yo yo yo! Reader, This week felt like a reminder of just how quickly life can change when momentum starts stacking in your favour. Not overnight. Not magically. But through enough small decisions, enough uncomfortable moments, enough reps… that eventually things begin to compound. And honestly? That’s the part most people never see. They see the “best week.”They see the numbers. They see the excitement. But they don’t see the years spent trying to figure out how to even make $3,000 in a week…...

Yo yo yo! Reader, Another week. Another blur. And honestly… I think I’ve finally figured out why. It’s not because life is moving too fast. It’s not because there’s “too much going on.” It’s because… When you’re truly building something… standing still isn’t an option. And this week reminded me of that in a big way. quick side step... looking for last weeks newsletter? (here) Lets continue on... The Problem Isn’t The Problem… This week, I found myself asking a different question. Not… “Why is...
