Howdy Reader,

A year ago, I wrote about “catching a break” and back then, it was coming from a place of hope.
I was in the thick of uncertainty, trying to convince myself that if I just kept pushing, something had to give.

Now, a year later, I’ve realised something important: You don’t wait for a break... you become it.

Reflecting from where I was last year... lower sales, lower revenue, lower profits... and feeling a squeeze.

Here I am again 1 year later, with the feeling of being squeezed again... BUT we have more SALES, more REVENUE and may even have more profit... so we actually have grown.

Sometimes it can be hard to see the good in the rough of it, but you zoom out and the rough ain't all that bad.

Back then, I asked:

“What does catching a break really mean?”

Today, my answer is simpler:
It’s not luck, timing, or a miracle moment.
It’s the byproduct of persistence meeting patience and still showing up when results go quiet.

The “break” doesn’t come to those who wait.
It comes to those who refuse to stop building when it feels pointless.

🔧 What’s Within Our Control (Still)

Some lessons haven’t changed they’ve only deepened.

✅ Your Effort: no algorithm, no luck, no timing can replace it.
✅ Your Energy: how you show up determines how long you can last.
✅ Your Environment: who you let influence you matters more than you think.

Everything else? Timing, trends, algorithms those will always fluctuate.
But you remain the most consistent variable.

⚠️ The Hard Truth About “Breaks”

It’s tempting to believe the next breakthrough will fix everything.
But sometimes, the lesson is that nothing out there will not until you fix how you approach it in here.

The “break” is never one big leap.
It’s a series of stubborn, imperfect steps that no one applauds in real time.

And I’ll be honest right now, I’m still in that middle.
Still working. Still building. Still trusting that these small steps are the ones that will later look like momentum.

🌱 What I’m Reminding Myself (and You)

  1. Don’t confuse waiting with preparing: Preparation has motion, waiting doesn’t.
  2. Burnout isn’t a badge: You can’t create your best work from an empty tank.
  3. Growth often looks like survival: But survival seasons build the strongest foundation.
  4. Progress is already happening: You might just be too close to see it yet.

🚀 The Takeaway (One Year Later)

Last year, I was hoping for a break.
This year, I’m creating them... brick by brick, system by system, step by step.

So, if you’re in that same space... juggling pressure, fatigue, and uncertainty. Don’t lose hope.
The very fact that you’re still trying means your story isn’t over.

You don’t need a break to arrive. You just need to keep showing up until you realise you’ve already built one.

Business Snapshot for 2025 (currently):

November is DOWN in sales. however ASP is up.

Right now we have about $6k to find to cover expenses, however we still have a few more other expense to land, so likely $9K.

Will I be able to do it? Bring it on.
