The Decisions You Doubt (Are the Ones That Shape You)

Yo! Reader,

This week felt… different.

Not chaotic.
Not amazing.
Not terrible.

Just one of those weeks where you sit back and go:

“Am I actually doing the right thing here?”

The Part No One Talks About

There’s a moment in building anything where…

You don’t know if your decisions are smart or if you’re just learning the hard way.

And the truth?

It’s usually both.

This week, I had one of those conversations where reality hits.

Commitments.
Expectations.
Things not quite where they should be.

And it forces you to step back and ask:

“Did I mess this up… or is this just part of the process?”

The Trap of Hindsight

It’s easy to look back and say:

  • “I shouldn’t have done that”
  • “I should’ve done more of this”
  • “That was a bad decision”

But here’s the catch…

You only know that NOW.

At the time, you made the best call you could with:

  • the information you had
  • the experience you had
  • the confidence you had

And if you didn’t?

Then that’s exactly how you gain it.

The Reality of Progress

This week had:

  • Wins → quick turnaround deals, fast decisions paying off
  • Challenges → pressure, expectations, things not aligning
  • Trade-offs → time, energy, focus constantly shifting

But zoom out for a second…

We’re still moving forward.

We’re still figuring it out.

We’re still in the game.

The Lesson (That Applies to Everything)

You’re going to make decisions that:

  • don’t fully work
  • don’t go to plan
  • don’t give you the outcome you expected

That doesn’t make them wrong.

That makes them necessary.

Because the only way to build better judgment…

is to go through moments where your judgment gets tested.

The Pressure of “Getting It Right”

There’s this weird expectation that:

Once you’re “doing something serious”… you should have it all figured out.

But that’s not how it works.

The bigger the thing you’re building:

  • the more unknowns there are
  • the more pressure you feel
  • the more responsibility you carry

And with that… comes more moments of doubt.

What Actually Matters

Not whether every decision is perfect.

But whether you:

  • take ownership
  • adapt quickly
  • keep moving forward

Because the people who “figure it out”… aren’t the ones who get it right every time.

They’re the ones who don’t stop when they get it wrong.

A Quiet Win

Even with everything going on…

This week was still a solid week.

Not because everything clicked.

But because:

  • conversations were had
  • adjustments were made
  • momentum didn’t stop

And sometimes… that’s the win.

Final Thought

You don’t need perfect decisions.

You need enough good ones… stacked on top of the lessons from the bad ones.

So if you’re in a moment right now where you’re questioning things…

Good.

That means you care.
That means you’re thinking.
That means you’re in it.

And more often than not…

that’s exactly where you need to be.

Appreciate you being here.

What else have I been up to?

  • I have teamed up with B4VK's and we are doing a PS5 Giveaway! (join here)
  • spent the long weekend catching up with rest, play video games, going on a hike

Chris!

Yo yo yo! Reader, This week reminded me of something I think we all forget from time to time... You can be doing all the right things and still have a bad day. You can be showing up. Doing the work. Following the plan. Making progress. And still look at the scoreboard and think: "What the heck happened?" That was my week. One day we were flying. The next day felt like someone had turned the tap off. Nothing changed. Same effort. Same process. Same commitment. Different result. And that's when...

Yo yo yo! Reader, This week felt like a reminder of just how quickly life can change when momentum starts stacking in your favour. Not overnight. Not magically. But through enough small decisions, enough uncomfortable moments, enough reps… that eventually things begin to compound. And honestly? That’s the part most people never see. They see the “best week.”They see the numbers. They see the excitement. But they don’t see the years spent trying to figure out how to even make $3,000 in a week…...

Yo yo yo! Reader, Another week. Another blur. And honestly… I think I’ve finally figured out why. It’s not because life is moving too fast. It’s not because there’s “too much going on.” It’s because… When you’re truly building something… standing still isn’t an option. And this week reminded me of that in a big way. quick side step... looking for last weeks newsletter? (here) Lets continue on... The Problem Isn’t The Problem… This week, I found myself asking a different question. Not… “Why is...
