The Strange Thing About Growth…

Yo yo yo! Reader,

This week felt like a reminder of just how quickly life can change when momentum starts stacking in your favour.

Not overnight.

Not magically.

But through enough small decisions, enough uncomfortable moments, enough reps… that eventually things begin to compound.

And honestly?

That’s the part most people never see.

They see the “best week.”
They see the numbers.
They see the excitement.

But they don’t see the years spent trying to figure out how to even make $3,000 in a week… let alone staring down the possibility of doing nearly $15,000-$16,000 in one.

That perspective hit me hard this week.

Lets continue on...

The Strange Thing About Growth…

Growth creates new problems.

And weirdly enough…

That’s a good thing.

A while ago, the challenge was:
“How do we get more sales?”

Now the challenge is:
“How do we sustain this?”
“How do we structure this?”
“How do we build around this momentum without breaking the foundations underneath it?”

Different season. (or time). Different problems.

And I think this applies to everything in life.

At first:

  • you pray for opportunity

Then eventually:

  • you pray for capacity
  • systems
  • clarity
  • sustainability
  • protection

Because growth without structure eventually creates chaos.

And chaos burns people out.

The Part Nobody Talks About

One thing I’ve realised recently…

The better things start going, the more important your decision making becomes.

Because now every “yes” matters.

Every expense matters.

Every hire matters.

Every opportunity matters.

Every distraction matters.

You start thinking less about:

“How do I survive this month?”

And more about:

“How do I position myself for the next 3 years?”

That’s a very different mindset.

And honestly, I think that’s one of the biggest transitions anyone goes through in life:

From reacting…

To intentionally building.

Momentum Is Earned

This week reminded me that momentum isn’t random.

Momentum comes from:

  • consistency
  • showing up
  • trying things
  • adjusting
  • learning
  • failing
  • refining
  • staying in the game long enough

Because eventually… the work starts talking back.

Not every idea works.

Not every week feels good.

Not every decision is right.

But if you keep moving forward, eventually you create enough surface area for opportunities to start finding you.

And when they do?

You better be ready.

A Reminder For Anyone Feeling Behind

I know there are people reading this who feel:

  • overwhelmed
  • behind
  • frustrated
  • stuck
  • uncertain
  • mentally exhausted

Trust me… I get it.

But don’t confuse a hard season with a failed journey.

Sometimes you’re much closer than you think.

Sometimes the breakthrough is hiding behind the season where you feel like nothing is working.

And sometimes…

The reason things feel blurry is because you’re actually growing faster than you realise.

Protect Your Energy

One thing I’m learning a lot lately:

Not everyone deserves access to your mental space.

There’s a big difference between:

  • constructive challenge and
  • people projecting noise into your life.

I love thoughtful conversations.
I love being challenged.
I love hearing perspectives.

But there’s also a point where people stop trying to help…
and start trying to pull you into their fears, limitations, or opinions.

You don’t have to carry that.

You don’t need permission to pursue the life you want.

And you definitely don’t need everyone to understand your vision for it to matter.

My Question To You This Week

What’s one thing in your life right now that is quietly gaining momentum…

…if you’re brave enough to keep nurturing it?

Could be:

  • your health
  • your confidence
  • your business
  • your relationships
  • your creativity
  • your discipline
  • your mindset

Don’t dismiss small progress.

Small progress compounds.

And one day you’ll look back wondering how something that once felt impossible… became normal.

One week at a time.

One decision at a time.

One rep at a time.

Appreciate you all.

What else have I been up to?

  • just spending time with Karla with weekend hobbies and running

Yo yo yo! Reader, Some weeks you feel unstoppable. Other weeks feel like you're spending all your time reacting. This was one of those weeks. Trades didn't arrive when they were supposed to. Collections got delayed. Staff had family commitments. A camera return turned into a difficult customer situation. Rain made warehouse work harder than it needed to be. Even simple plans seemed to require three backup plans. A few years ago that would've completely thrown me. Now? It's just business. Also...

Yo yo yo! Reader, There's a funny thing that happens when your business grows. You spend years dreaming about having more opportunities… …and then one day you wake up and realise your biggest challenge isn't finding opportunities anymore. It's choosing which ones deserve your attention. That was this week. Also if you are needing a game changing legend of an accountant, Ethan is your guy! Yo yo yo! Reader, This week felt like a milestone. After weeks of planning, measuring, moving and reorganising, the new pallet racking finally went in. In less than an hour, one of the biggest operational projects we've tackled this year was standing in the warehouse and almost immediately, it started filling up. On the surface, it looks like shelving. In reality, it's capacity. Capacity for more stock. More consignments. More opportunities. More live shows. More moving parts. And judging by...
