The Trade-Offs You Don’t See (But Feel Every Day)

Yo! Reader,

Another week. Done.

And if I’m honest…

This one felt like a mix of progress… and pressure.

The Hidden Cost of “Better”

This week, I ran into a simple problem…

Something was better…but it cost double.

And it got me thinking:

How often in life do we chase “better” without asking if it’s actually worth it?

Because better doesn’t always mean smarter.

Sometimes:

  • 90% right at half the cost… wins
  • “Perfect” actually slows you down
  • The upgrade isn’t the move… consistency is

That’s a tough pill to swallow when you’re wired to improve everything.

The Real Game: Trade-Offs

Every decision lately feels like a trade-off.

  • Time vs Money
  • Speed vs Quality
  • Growth vs Stability

And no one really talks about this part…

There is no perfect choice.

Just choices you commit to… and learn from.

Progress (Even When It Doesn’t Feel Like It)

Here’s the thing though…

Even with the questions, the testing, the uncertainty…

This week was still good.

  • New ideas being tested
  • New channels gaining traction
  • Systems improving (even if slowly)

And when I zoom out…

We’re still moving forward. Up by 14.79% YOY

The Standard Keeps Moving

I caught myself this week thinking:

“I’m happy… but I’m not content.”

And that’s the weird balance, right?

You can:

  • appreciate where you are
  • while still pushing for more

That tension?

That’s growth.

The Bigger Picture

It’s easy to get stuck in the week.

The numbers.
The targets.
The things that didn’t quite hit.

But the real game is bigger than that.

It’s:

  • building something sustainable
  • making decisions that stack over time
  • setting yourself up not just for next week… but the next few years

And sometimes that means:

  • testing things that don’t stick
  • paying more to learn faster
  • slowing down to speed up later

A Small Reality Check

Even with everything going on…

  • The business is still moving
  • The opportunities are still there
  • The vision is still clear

And honestly?

That’s enough.

Final Thought

You don’t need every decision to be perfect.

You need enough decisions that:

  • move you forward
  • teach you something
  • help you refine the next one

Because over time…

That’s what builds momentum.

Question for You

Where in your life right now are you:

  • chasing “perfect” instead of “good enough”?
  • overpaying (time, energy, money) for marginal gains?
  • avoiding a decision because it feels messy?

That might be the exact place you need to lean in.

Appreciate you being here.

What else have I been up to?

  • I have teamed up with B4VK's and we are doing a PS5 Giveaway! (join here)
  • it was a wet weekend, so Karla and I just had a quiet one in
  • some exciting developments for ebay live coming soon!

Yo yo yo! Reader, This week reminded me of something I think we all forget from time to time... You can be doing all the right things and still have a bad day. You can be showing up. Doing the work. Following the plan. Making progress. And still look at the scoreboard and think: "What the heck happened?" That was my week. One day we were flying. The next day felt like someone had turned the tap off. Nothing changed. Same effort. Same process. Same commitment. Different result. And that's when...

Yo yo yo! Reader, This week felt like a reminder of just how quickly life can change when momentum starts stacking in your favour. Not overnight. Not magically. But through enough small decisions, enough uncomfortable moments, enough reps… that eventually things begin to compound. And honestly? That’s the part most people never see. They see the “best week.”They see the numbers. They see the excitement. But they don’t see the years spent trying to figure out how to even make $3,000 in a week…...

Yo yo yo! Reader, Another week. Another blur. And honestly… I think I’ve finally figured out why. It’s not because life is moving too fast. It’s not because there’s “too much going on.” It’s because… When you’re truly building something… standing still isn’t an option. And this week reminded me of that in a big way. quick side step... looking for last weeks newsletter? (here) Lets continue on... The Problem Isn’t The Problem… This week, I found myself asking a different question. Not… “Why is...
