When It Starts Working Again (Don’t Waste It)

Yo yo yo! Reader,

This week felt… different.

Not perfect.
Not “we’ve made it.”

But for the first time in a while…

things started to click again!

The Moment It Turns

You know that feeling when you’ve been grinding…

Weeks or months of:

  • questioning everything
  • pushing through resistance
  • not seeing the results you want

And then suddenly…

You get a glimpse.

Not the full result.
Just enough to remind you:

“Oh… this actually works.”
"I am capable"

That was this week.

The Quiet Wins Matter Most

There wasn’t one massive breakthrough.

It was a series of small things:

  • Systems feeling more organised
  • Workflows starting to click
  • Consistency showing up again
  • Momentum building (finally)

And most importantly…

confidence creeping back in! this is a HUGE WIN!

The Trap Right Here

This is the dangerous part.

Because when things start working again…

People relax.

They:

  • ease off the pressure
  • take the foot off the gas
  • assume it’ll just keep going

But here’s the truth:

This is when it matters most.

Not when it’s hard.
Not when everything is falling apart.

But right here…

When it starts working.

Rebuilding vs Growing

This week felt like getting back to baseline.

Getting back to:

  • what we know works
  • what we’ve proven before
  • what we’re capable of

But now comes the real question:

“How do we go from here… to the next level?”

Because getting back is one thing.

Leveling up is another game entirely.

The Bigger Play

It’s easy to think short-term:

  • “Good week, let’s keep this going.”

But the real shift happens when you think:

  • “How do I turn this into something bigger?”
  • “How do I make this repeatable?”
  • “How do I build on this momentum?”

That’s the difference between:

  • reacting to results
    vs
  • designing growth

What This Week Reinforced

A few things hit hard:

  • You are capable of more than you think
  • The results will come back if you stay in it
  • Momentum is fragile… but powerful

And most importantly:

The tough weeks weren’t wasted.

They were preparing you for this.

Don’t Miss This Window

If things are starting to work for you right now…

Don’t celebrate too early.

Use it.

  • Double down on what’s working
  • Clean up what isn’t
  • Push while you’ve got momentum

Because momentum…

is the hardest thing to create
and the easiest thing to lose.

Final Thought

You don’t go from struggle → success overnight.

You go from:

  • struggle → small win
  • small win → consistency
  • consistency → growth

This week?

Was a small win.

Now it’s about what you do with it.

What else have I been up to?

  • B4VK's PS5 Giveaway announcement this Wednesday! (see here)
  • did a run on the weekend
  • swatching For All Mankind Season 5

Yo yo yo! Reader, Some weeks you feel unstoppable. Other weeks feel like you're spending all your time reacting. This was one of those weeks. Trades didn't arrive when they were supposed to. Collections got delayed. Staff had family commitments. A camera return turned into a difficult customer situation. Rain made warehouse work harder than it needed to be. Even simple plans seemed to require three backup plans. A few years ago that would've completely thrown me. Now? It's just business. Also...

Yo yo yo! Reader, There's a funny thing that happens when your business grows. You spend years dreaming about having more opportunities… …and then one day you wake up and realise your biggest challenge isn't finding opportunities anymore. It's choosing which ones deserve your attention. That was this week. Also if you are needing a game changing legend of an accountant, Ethan is your guy! Yo yo yo! Reader, This week felt like a milestone. After weeks of planning, measuring, moving and reorganising, the new pallet racking finally went in. In less than an hour, one of the biggest operational projects we've tackled this year was standing in the warehouse and almost immediately, it started filling up. On the surface, it looks like shelving. In reality, it's capacity. Capacity for more stock. More consignments. More opportunities. More live shows. More moving parts. And judging by...
